Cristiano Ronaldo will not rejoin Manchester United
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has said he will not be returning to the Premier League in the near future but admitted you “never know”.
Speaking during a trip to Singapore, the Portugal international spoke fondly of his time at Manchester United but said he is happy to stay in Spain for now.
He said: “I really miss English football. For me it was one of the best years in my career when I was there.”
Of Manchester United, he added: “It’s a club that’s still in my heart and that I really miss. But now my life is in Spain, I enjoy to play there too, part of my life is there.
“But in the future we never know, but I’m really happy in the Spanish league at the moment.”
