PSG Ready to Part with £35 million to Land Juan Mata
According to reports in France, Champions Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a mega offer (€48m move) for Chelsea play-maker Juan Mata. The Spaniard, who was such an influential figure for the club last season, has been given a cold shoulder by manager Jose Mourinho.
In October, Goal.com reported that PSG are targeting a move for Mata and are preparing a bid worth £35 million for the play maker. It was reported that Chelsea are unwilling to sell the player to any Premire League any rivals, but could be willing to listen to offers from foreign club for the 25-year-old.
Further, Mata could be ready to ship the jump as well, despite the fact he has repeatedly said he is happy at the club. With World Cup approaching, he might look for opportunities elsewhere where he would be guaranteed regular stating line-up berth.
