Asamoah Gyan set goal score record in UAE
Black Stars Striker, Asamoah Gyan, has set the record to score 70 goals in two and half seasons in the United Arab Emirates, after he scored for Al Ain 1-1 against Al Sharjah on Friday.
Asamoah Gyan, set the record after his consistent performance for Al Ain since joining the club in the 2011-2012 season From Sunderland, English side. His record scoring rate includes goals from the Pro League and the UAE Cup in just two and half seasons.
Although Gyan arrived in the mid of the season but he managed to beat established strikers like Brazilian Grafite on his first season after scoring 22 goals.
After playing a successful first season, he carried to bag 31 times in his second season that helped his club, Al Ain, to win the event in the earlier season.
Asamoah Gyan is now looking to break his own record he made in last season, as in this season he has scored 14 goals in 11 games.
