Ibrahimovic: Enyeama has not faced Zlatan or Cavani yet

Super Eagles safest hands, Vincent Enyeama would be having his ‘gloves full’ tomorrow as he travels with his French Ligue 1 side, Lille,  to confront host PSG tomorrow.

Enyeama’s heroics for Lille this season had seen him go 1,062 minutes (in 11 matches) unbeaten in goal before conceding  an own-goal in the 1-0 loss to Bordeaux penultimate weekend,  which eventually shattered his attempt to equal the 1,176 clean sheet record of Gaetan Huard for Bordeaux during the 1992-93 season.

The Nigerian goalkeeper is arguably the major reason why Lille is currently third on the league table with 39 points. Enyeama has conceded only 6 goals in 18 matches so far,  but he would need to be in his best form against a high-scoring PSG side complete with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edison Cavani. And in tomorrow’s clash at the 48,428 capacity Parc des Princes stadium, the best goalkeeper in the French topflight will be squaring up against the best strikers in the current league season.

The striking partnership of Ibrahimovic and Cavani is largely responsible for PSG’s ‘goalrious’ run which has fetched the Paris-based team 42 goals after 18 games. Ibrahimovic currently has 14 goals to his credit while Cavani follows  closely with 12 strikes and both are primed to give Enyeama a tough time,  as PSG would be looking to retain or reclaim their place on the league summit as the case may be. Ibrahimovich in another report said Enyeama was able to go that long without conceding any goal because he is yet to meet the Zlatan and Cavanis of this world,

Meanwhile, PSG go into this tie with 43 points and would need at least a draw to reclaim the top spot provided Monaco in second place with 41 points defeat Valenciennes in an earlier fixture.
