Robin Van Persie has hinted that he wants a move away from Old Trafford after stating that he was not prepared to play second fiddle to Wayne Rooney. The similar dilemma nearly saw Rooney exit at the end of last season, but with Rooney now in favour, RVP has stated that he no longer sees his future under Moyes in the Europa League. Arsene Wenger is rumoured to have a buy back clause on the dutchman, but £32m may prove too much for the striker who has proven to have persistent injury problems. RvP's spiritual home is at the Emirattes, and with Arsenal still thin on the ground up front, a bid for the unhappy striker could solve all the current issues. United are unlikely to want to sell back to the Gunners, and it is not sure if Arsenal fans would be prepared to take the striker back following the end of his 8 year love affair with the North London.
