Eto'O: I want Arsenal move
Samuel Eto ’ o is hoping to complete a stunning
summer move to Arsenal .
According to the Daily Star , the Chelsea striker, 33 , has
reportedly made a switch to the Emirates his No .1
priority .
Eto ’ o is said to be keen to try and prove Jose Mourinho
wrong and his representatives have alerted the Gunners
of his availability.
Mourinho was last year filmed having a private
conversation where he suggested Eto ’ o was older than
he actually is .
The Cameroon ace didn’ t react at the time but
subsequently hit back at the end of the season and
labelled the Blues boss a “fool” and a “puppet ”.
Eto ’ o wants to stay in London and is set to turn down
big-money offers from the MLS and the Middle East to
do so , according to the Daily Mirror .
Eto ’ o netted nine Premier League goals in 21 games last
season .
Arsenal need a striker and have a wealth of names on
their wanted list.
Arsene Wenger could also move for QPR ’ s Loic Remy
who is another option.
Olivier Giroud is their first -choice forward but his form
dwindled last season while back - up striker Yaya Sanogo
remains raw while Nicklas Bendtner has left the club .
