Arsenal offer for Marshall Rejected

Arsenal have had an initial offer of around £6m
rejected by Cardiff City for goalkeeper David
Marshall.
The Scottish goalkeeper won rave reviews last
season despite the South Wales club being
relegated.
Arsene Wenger needs competition for Wojciech
Szczesny after the departure of Lukasz Fabianski to
Swansea earlier this month.
Meanhwile, Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is
wanted by German side Stuttgart.
The Danish international, who was widely expected
to leave the Emirates at the beginning of last
season, stayed on and was consequently a
peripheral member of Arsene Wenger’s squad.
Bendtner has also had talks with Crystal Palace and
Hull.
