Ronaldo rerurns to Portugal training
Portugal have received a massive boost ahead
of their first World Cup game after Cristiano
Ronaldo returned to training.
Injury concerns over the Real Madrid star
have dominated the headlines recently amid
fears he could miss his country's first group
stage match against Germany on June 16.
But the FIFA Ballon d'Or winner is back in
group training with Portugal and looks to be
winning the battle against patellar tendinosis,
the injury problem he had been struggling
with.
A statement on the Portuguese FA's official
website also confirmed that Raul Meireles is
back in training, but Pepe and Beto are still
recovering from injury.
Portugal face Germany, Ghana and United
States in Group G.
