Keshi Left out our Best Players -Akpabire

Former Nigeria striker Jonathan Akpoborie says Super
Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has not picked his
strongest squad.
On Tuesday, Keshi named a 30-man provisional squad
for the World Cup, but the list has left Akpoborie
disappointed.
"Is this the strongest squad that Nigeria can take to
the World Cup? My answer to that would be no," he
told KickOffNigeria.com.
Akpoborie then proceeded to pick holes in Keshi's
selection. "I don't believe any coach in his right mind
would take any player who is still injured, who hasn't
played a game after his injury in his World Cup squad.
"Secondly, we have a player who is Nigeria's best
striker in Europe and has scored goals to help us
qualify for this tournament and you are leaving him at
home.
"Meanwhile, there is somebody else who has played
only two or three games and he is in that list.
"So you ask, are we going there to participate like we
did at the Confederations Cup, or are we going there
to win games."
"And this is the reason why I have a problem with a
Nigerian handling our Super Eagles. There is always
sentiment involved in selection and I don't think the
coach made this list all by himself."
